Connie Fuller Stephens was born in Cleveland, Texas on September 6, 1955 to parents, Lee Fuller and Eva Pauline Whitmire Fuller. Connie entered her eternal home in Heaven on July 28, 2025 at the age of 69 years.
She worked as a para-professional at Cleveland ISD for many years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with warmth and unconditional love. Connie was soft-spoken, yet she abundantly showed kindness and was deeply loved by those closest to her. Her family clings to the faith she held throughout her life as comfort during this overwhelming sadness.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Pauline Fuller; brothers, Roger Dale Fuller and James “Buddy” Wayne Fuller. Connie is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Dwight Stephens; beloved daughter, Susie Stephens-Croft and husband William Croft; beloved grandchildren, Sadie Lynn Croft and William Hugh Croft; beloved brothers, Percy Fuller, Raymond Fuller, John Fuller, Roy Fuller and Ralph Fuller; beloved sisters, Vera Long and Paula Enloe.
Funeral Service is scheduled for Friday, August 1, 2025 in the Pace-Stancil Chapel at 4pm with Rev. Dennis Martin officiating. Connie will have a private family burial in Squier Cemetery.
