Daniel Simon Glowski

October 25, 1939 — October 4, 2025

Daniel "Dan" Simon Glowski, a loving husband, devoted father, cherished grandpa, and loyal friend, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 4, 2025. He is now reunited in heaven with the love of his life, Minerva Glowski, whose memory he cherished every day.

Dan was born on October 25, 1939, in Bremond, Texas. He spent much of his life working as an insulator alongside his brothers, proudly serving as a longtime member of Local 22. He was a man of integrity and strength, and his work ethic was matched only by his devotion to his family. Though he took pride in his trade, Dan’s greatest legacy was the love he gave so freely to those around him.

To know Dan was to love him. He was a familiar and friendly face in the community of Splendora, Dan never met a stranger. Whether passing someone on the street or chatting at the store, he always had a warm smile, a kind word, or a quick-witted joke to share. His incredible sense of humor, generous heart, and bright spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Dan is survived by his loving daughters, Judy Becerra, Helen Penman and her husband Steve, and Cathy Glowski, as well as his bonus-daughter, Esther Pringle and her husband John. He was a proud grandfather to China Becerra, Alicia Moody and her husband Christopher, Patricia Penman, Kacie Penman, Melisa Vest and her husband Chase, and Kaitlynn Glowski. He was also blessed with bonus-grandchildren Autumn Biertemphel and her husband RJ, Caylin Rukovich and her husband Colton, and Kenzie Droke and her husband Danielle.

Dan’s legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Hailey, Ryan, Kelly Haney, Mackenzie, Mikayla, Christopher Moody Jr., Travis McLaughlin, Noah, and Hannah Vest. His bonus-great-grandchildren Dax and Zane Biertemphel, Joel Kukovich, and Beckett and Remington Lynne Droke also brought him much joy.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Minerva, his parents Ike and Cecelia Glowski, his brothers William (Willie), Eugene (Gene), and Floyed Glowski, his half-brother Theodore Budzisz, and half-sister Terry Kuzniarek. Though we mourn his passing, we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace and reunited with those he loved so dearly.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dan’s life at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, located at 303 East Crockett St, Cleveland, Texas. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, with services to follow at 11:00 AM.

Dan's life was a beautiful testament to love, laughter, and the strength of family. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing him.
