Obituary

D’Anna Kay Allen will be remembered for her joy, warmth, generosity, and unconditional love. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcomed and cared for. More than anything, Kay was a mother—not only to her children, but to anyone who needed comfort, guidance, or someone to believe in them.

Kay and her husband, Edward C. Allen, built a loving family centered on their children. She cherished her grandchildren and found endless joy in watching her family grow. Despite many medical challenges, Kay was blessed with 12 additional years, during which she celebrated marriages, welcomed grandchildren, shared milestones, enjoyed family time and a cruise, and helped create traditions that will live on.

Kay’s legacy continues through her children, grandchildren, and all those she loved and mothered along the way. Her family will carry her love forward in every story that begins, “Remember when Kay…”

Kay is survived by her loving husband, Edward C. Allen; her mother, Lynda Rochester; her children, Heather and Justin Gafford, Danielle and Matthew Roberts, TC Isaac and Faith Allen, and Jaycie and David Leonardt; and her beloved grandchildren,Jewel Gafford, Jessica Gafford; Addison Roberts, Cecilia Roberts, and Maelynn Roberts; and Riley Allen. She is also lovingly remembered by the grandchildren yet to be born, who will forever be part of her family and legacy.

She was preceded in death by her father Jimmy Ray Rochester and her granddaughter Lillie Mae Gafford.

D’Anna Kay Allen was deeply loved and will be deeply missed. Her love will continue through the hearts of her family and friends for generations to come.
