David Wayne Boyett, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2026, at the age of 74.

Born on August 8, 1952, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Harlon “Tink” Boyett and Lessie Rebecca Myers, David was the youngest sibling in a large and loving family, and he shared a special connection with his brothers and sisters throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings Helen Boyett Parker, Melba Boyett, John Elzie Boyett Sr., Loyd Boyett, and Jerry Boyett. He is survived by his siblings Larry Boyett and Donna Boyett Maurer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

David will be remembered for his kind nature, sweet heart, and contagious laugh. He was a man of strong Christian faith, and his family takes comfort in the knowledge that he is in the presence of the Lord.

Funeral services are pending, and arrangements will be announced at a later time.
