Deborah “Debbie” Hoagland passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Debbie was born on January 18, 1950, to Thomas and Bobbie Vander. She was a devoted and hardworking woman whose greatest joy in life was caring for her family. Whether as a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, or friend, Debbie poured her heart into making sure those she loved were always supported, comforted, and cared for.

She found true happiness in spending time with her family, creating memories, and being the steady, loving presence they could always rely on.

Debbie is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Emory Charles “Chuck” Hoagland; her cherished daughter, Karri Barrow and husband Wayne; and her sons, Tommy Hoagland and Mark Hoagland.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Kaylan and David Swiech; Frankey and Rhett Branagin; Emerie and Eian Roberts; and Jessica and Jake Skipper. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Lanee, Rylei, Travis, Emma, Charlie, Carter, Bryleigh, and Cody.

She is also survived by her siblings, Edward and Leda Vandver, and Lisa and Dennis Burt, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of dear friends.

Debbie was preceded in death by her daughter Shelia Kay Hoagland and her parents, Thomas and Bobbie Vandver.

She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the unwavering love she gave so freely to all who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family forever.
