Pastor Don Vann

Pastor Don Vann was born July 28, 1944 in Cleveland, Texas to parents, Doris Vann and Azileigh Yeager Vann. He entered Heavens Gates on April 25, 2025 at the age of 80 years. Don was a lifelong resident of Cleveland, Texas and was a minister for our Lord for 55 years. Don always kept himself busy working as a logger or as a truck driver. His love for the Lord lead him to Northeast Texas and Southeast Texas. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Azileigh Vann; daughter, Robin Baxley; great-grandson, Sam Jeffcoat; brother- in- law, Howard Love. Don is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary Vann; children, Kathy Smith and husband Walter, Karen Alston and husband Russell, Jerry Don Vann and wife Norma; son-in-law, Curtis Baxley; brothers, Jimmie Vann and wife Deborah, and Gary Vann and wife Mitzi; sisters, Elaine Love and Cynthia Vann; grandchildren, Jason Evans and wife Kristen, Cassidy Johnson and husband Jeremy, Dustie Jeffcoat and husband Joshua, Jessie Wilson and wife Harley, Lauren Alston and husband Austin, Justin Vann, Joshua Vann, Brittany Kelly and husband Jordan, Brianna Kelly and husband Brock; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Collin, Charlotte, Chase, Katie, Jax, Sawyer, Cody, Annabelle, Cadee, Macee, Judd, Beaux, Rioux, Crioux, Avery and Brynnlie; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be at Pace-Stancil Funeral home on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 6-8pm. Funeral Service is scheduled for 10am Friday, May 2, 2025 at the Fostoria Oaks Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Kenneth Pippin officiating. Burial will follow in the Farley Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be, Shannon Graber, Jeremy Johnson, Jason Evans, Justin Vann, Jessie Wilson, Joshua Vann, Jordan Kelly, and Brock Kelly. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Joshua Jeffcoat and Austin Gerard.
