Donnie Ray Trotter

Donnie Ray Trotter, 64, of Liberty, died Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 9, 2014, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter. Visitation will be held at 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Donnie was born September 11, 1949 in Ralls, to parents; Elmer Benjamin and Mildred M. Moore Trotter, a former resident of Borger, and has resided in Liberty for the past six years. He was a retired mechanic, Baptist by faith, and enjoyed fishing, and classic cars. Mr. Trotter was preceded in death by his father: Elmer Benjamin Trotter, mother: Mildred Maxine Moore Trotter, son: James Russell Trotter, daughter: Barbara Ann Richter, brother: Tommy Joe Trotter, and sister: Shirley Maxine Hardin. He is survived by his wife of 43 years: Donna S. Davidson Trotter of Liberty, son: Tim D. Trotter and wife Angela of Tomball, daughter: Donna R. Christian of League City, sister: Betty Jo Wooldridge and husband Jim of Longview, 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
