Doyle Lavoy Jeffcoat

Doyle L. Jeffcoat, 84, of Cleveland, died Monday, May 19, 2014, at the ICON Hospital in Humble. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, at the Magnolia Baptist Church with burial following at the Magnolia Cemetery in Evergreen. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Gary Godejohn, Larry Godejohn, Rick Maness, Ray Martin, Everett Needham and Eugene Dean and honorary pallbearer; Keith Pearce. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland. Doyle was born September 27, 1929 in the Everitt Community, to parents; Robert R. and Louise Smith Jeffcoat. Mr. Jeffcoat was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Louise Jeffcoat, five brothers, four sisters, and grandson: Glenn Ray Jeffcoat. He is survived by his wife: Edith Smith Jeffcoat, sons: Delbert Jeffcoat and wife Suzanne and Doyle Jeffcoat and wife Wanda, daughter: Donna Godejohn and husband Larry, grandchildren: Gary Lee Godejohn and wife Dawn, Nicholas Jeffcoat, Amanda Jeffcoat, Christine Roberts and husband Chris, Kelly Seay, and Peter Caugill, 10 great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
