Elizabeth Ann Cockrum, age 69 and a resident of Cleveland, Texas, passed away May 17, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Hospital. She was born in Dallas, Texas on November 14, 1943. She was a nurse in the healthcare profession, lived life with a heart full of love. She was loving, tender hearted and deeply devoted to her family; she will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband Tony Cockrum; father Ovide Lee Gilmore; mother Addie Lou East; grandson Turner Bell; and her son-in-law David Michael Case. Survivors include her sons Jack Bell of Cleveland, Texas, John Bell of Shepherd, Texas, Glen Alfred and wife Dana of Shepherd, Texas; daughter Kathy Miller of Cleveland, Texas; brothers Ovide Lee Gilmore Jr. and Raymond Gilmore; sisters Barbara Davis, Katie Wolf, and Diana Gilmore; grandchildren Shawn Cockrum, Kevin Cockrum, Bree Trevathan, Johnathan Bell, Erica Bell, Falyn Bell, William Alfred, Mathew Scott, Christopher Bell, Jennifer Case, Anthony Case, and Christopher Case; great-grandchildren Garrett Cockrum, McKenna Cockrum, Brayden Cockrum, Jossalyn Key, Alyssa Verdane,Asher and Avery; nieces Robin Cockrum, Rocky Kirchner, Felicia Coleman, Kendra Cotton, Krystal Cockrum, and Kimberly Keene; and a host of other treasured family members and faithful friends. Rev. Melvin Holifield will preside over graveside services being held Thursday, June 20, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas. Pallbearers include Jack Bell, John Bell, Glen Alfred, Shawn Cockrum, Kevin Cockrum, Johnathan Bell, and Paul Rhoden.
