Evelyn Carol Howell

Evelyn “Carol” Keck Howell, 71, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at the Magnolia Place Nursing Home in Liberty.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016, at the Pace-Stancil funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Carol was born January 3, 1945 in Liberty, to parents; Chester and Hattie Keck, and has been a lifelong resident of Dayton. She was a neonatal nurse’s aide at the Memorial Hermann Hospital, and nanny for the Holste family. She also enjoyed cooking and animals.

Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Dean Keck and John Keck, nephew: John L. “Joker” Keck, and great-nephew: Codi Keck. She is survived daughter: Lori “Brooke” Chance and husband Cody Sears, sisters: Dana Ruth Keck Gillen of Tarkington Prairie and Glynn Rains of Dayton, grandchildren: Ryland and Skylar Sears, nieces and nephews: Dean, Susie, Patrick, Jodie, Kim, Charlie, and Dana, 10 great-nieces and nephews, 14 great great-nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
