Faye Evelyn Derkowski

Faye Evelyn Derkowski was born August 2, 1939 in Orange, Texas to parents, Frank Schultz and Dora Mae Richardson Schultz. She passed away April 9, 2024 in Cleveland, Texas at the age of 84. Faye was always thinking of others first and was known by her children as being the most selfless woman. She loved feeding her ducks as well as all the stray cats that come around. Faye loved her family, especially her great-grandchildren, and how she enjoyed the holidays and family get togethers. Her favorite saying was I’m Fine, Everything Is Fine. Faye will be greatly missed by her family and everyone that knew and loved her. 

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Dora Mae Schultz; beloved husband, Herman George Derkowski; brother, Frank Schultz. She is survived by her beloved children, Lisa Ann Derkowski Adams and significant other Donny Anzualda, and Joseph Daniel Derkowski and wife Jean; brother, Steven Schultz; grandchildren, Joseph Derkowski, Megan Adams Hedrick, Morgan Adams Heady; great-grandchildren, Corbin Langford, Ava Mae Heady, Tilly Faye Heady, Luke Hedrick, Delilah Joe Hedrick; nephews, Mark Schultz and Stevie Schultz; nieces, Susan Schultz O’Connor and Heidi Schultz; numerous great-nephews and great-nieces. 

Visitation will be in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 11am-12pm. Funeral Service will begin at 12pm with Bro. George Hayden officiating. Burial will follow in the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. Pallbearers for the service will be, Travis Heady, Charles Adams, Josh Hedrick, David Adams, Scott Harlan, and Chris Crisp.
