Gladys Faye (Franklin) Tingle, a cherished member of the Cleveland community, passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 94. Born on January 31, 1930, in Cleveland, Texas, Gladys was the daughter of Oscar Lee Franklin and Laura King Franklin. She was reunited in death with her beloved husband, Bob Tingle, her son Bobby Tingle, and son-in-law Jimmy Senter.
During her remarkable life, Gladys dedicated 35 years of service at Cleveland Pharmacy. Her passions included tending to her garden, cultivating African Violets, observing birds and squirrels, and finding solace in her faith and church community. Her greatest source of joy came from her grandchildren who held a special place in her heart.
Gladys will be dearly missed by her surviving family members and friends. Among those who mourn her passing are her sister, Joyce Ritchey; daughter, Darla Senter; grandchildren, Jason Tingle, his wife Jamie and their children, Chloe and husband Hunter, Timothy, and Nicholas; Lenee Hunziker, her husband Scott and their daughter Parker; Marcus Tingle, his wife Holly and their sons Austin and Tyler, Shannon Senter, his wife Bethany and their daughters Peyton and Mackenna; Brandon Senter, his wife Kaitlin and their daughters Jessie, Sydney and Cassidy; Kody Vines, his wife Starla and their sons Braxton and Kolten.
Services for Gladys will be held on Monday, February 19th. Visitation will commence at 12pm followed by the funeral at 1pm at the Pace-Stancil Chapel in Cleveland, Texas officiated by Robert Brown. She will be laid to rest in the Cleveland City Cemetery with Jason Tingle, Marcus Tingle, Scott Hunziker, Shannon Senter, Brandon Senter, and Kody Vines serving as pallbearers.
