Henry Charles Odom, 49, of Dayton, Texas, passed away on August 13, 2025.

Henry was born on January 12, 1976, in Pasadena, Texas, to Coy Frank Odom and Geneva Brooks. He moved to Dayton as a young man and had called it home for the past 30 years. A graduate of Dayton High School, Class of 1996, Henry was known for his big heart, strong work ethic, and joyful spirit.

Henry was a happy, loving, and caring man who always looked for ways to help others. He enjoyed attending the Baptist church and found meaning in both his faith and his work. Whether working a full-time job or picking up side projects, Henry was always on the move—self-motivated and eager to stay productive.

He had a passion for cooking and loved experimenting with different dishes and baking desserts for friends and family. Music of all kinds brought him joy, and he could often be found with a tune playing in the background. Most of all, Henry cherished time spent with his loved ones and built lasting connections with those around him.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Geneva, and his sister, Minnie Odom. He is survived by his brother, William Odom and wife Toni; his sister, Tracie Odom; and many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss his warmth, laughter, and generous spirit.
