Holton Kennedy, Iii

Holton Kennedy, III, age 30, of Liberty, Liberty County, Texas, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Liberty-Dayton Hospital in Liberty. Holton was born March 15, 1983 in Baytown, Harris County, Texas, to his parents; Holton Kennedy, Jr. and Peggy Gibson. Holton was a lifelong resident of Liberty County. He was a graduate of Tarkington High School, Class of 2001. Holton was a former employee of Mas Amigos, Pizza Hut and Black-Eyed Pea Restaurants. He loved spending time with his niece doing crafts, he also enjoyed drawing, fishing and photography. The family will receive friends, Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Service for Mr. Kennedy will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Hovater officiating. Mr. Kennedy is survived by his mother: Peggy Clark of Liberty; father: Holton Kennedy, Jr. and wife Dee of Pasadena; grandfather: Laurence Gibson of Pasadena, brothers: Colby Landrum of Liberty, Daniel Kennedy and Travis Kennedy; Sisters: Kristy Kennedy of Liberty and P. J. Kennedy of Anahuac, niece: Brittany Landrum, nieces nephews and other relatives and friends. Holton was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Cora Jo and Holton Kennedy, Sr. and his maternal grandmother: Ocey Gibson.
