Inez Margaret Dufrene, born January 28, 1937, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Stanley LeBlanc and Loretta Dantin, passed away on April 25, 2026, surrounded by the love she gave so freely throughout her life.

She was the beloved wife of 58 years to Willard Dufrene, whose life was deeply enriched by her unwavering love and devotion. Inez was a proud and loving mother to Clark and Wanda Fonseca, Sterling and Penny Fonseca, Arlene and Mike Barger, Ronnie and Iva Fonseca, Ronald and Julie Dufrene, and Juanita and Brian Hintzman.

She was a cherished grandmother to Darby Fonseca, Kerry Fonseca, Chad Fonseca, Brad Fonseca, Michelle Timmons, Michael Barger, Christeen Fonseca, Kaci Dufrene, Karla Hebert, Krystal Hebert, Richard Fritz, Danielle Breland, Brady Lohner, and Tyler and Ashlee Nezat. She was also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. She is also survived by many extended family members and a host of dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Warren Fonseca, beloved daughter, Shelia Davenport, and her loving brothers, David LeBlanc and Robert LeBlanc.

Inez was a woman whose greatest joy in life was caring for her family. As a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, she gave her heart fully and selflessly. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and unconditional love. She treasured every moment spent with her family and found happiness in taking care of those she loved.

She will be missed more than words can express and remembered always for the love she gave so generously. Her legacy lives on in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
