Iris Allen

Iris F. Allen, age 90, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. She was born on Tarkington Prairie/Cleveland, Texas on October 30, 1919 to parents, Thomas Allen and Ruby Gabrielle DuBose who preceded her in death along with her loving husband, Earl Wayne Allen; brothers, Charlie Paul DuBose, Allen Cullen DuBose, Hilliard Carson DuBose; sisters, Doris Laverne Anderson and Luby Dean Stout. Survivors include her sons, David Allen and wife, Jane, Ricki Allen and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Kevin Allen; brother, Jimmy Fred DuBose and wife, Waynette; sister, Ruby Anderson; numerous nieces, nephews and so many other wonderful family members and friends that loved her so much. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 10, 2010, 5:00-9:00 p.m., at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Byron Reeves will preside over funeral services being held Monday, 2:00 p.m., October 11, 2010 at Pace-Stancil Chapel with interment immediately following at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.
