Ivy Lois Parrott

Ivy L. Parrott, 49, of Cypress, died Sunday, May 4, 2014, at the Kindred Hospital NW in Houston. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at the Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton with burial following thereafter. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Ivy was born August 15, 1964 in Loring, Maine, to parents; Jerry C. and Eva L. Laird Parrott, and enjoyed swinging and playing with her beads. Miss Parrott was preceded in death by her father: Jerry C. Parrott and sisters: Eva M. Southall and Helen B. Jackson. She is survived by her mother: Eva L. Laird Parrott of Silsbee, sisters: Paula Webb of Anahuac, Peggy Pittman of Baytown, and Thelma Clark of Crosby, brothers: Harvey Parrott of Silsbee, Jerry Parrott of Oklahoma, and Mark Parrott of Baytown, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
