Janice Marie Davis was born in Harris County, Texas on August 7, 1943 to parents, Archie Louis Davis and Mittie Minor Davis. She passed away in Cleveland, Texas on November 11, 2025 at the age of 82. Janice worked in the Home Health Care industry for numerous years before her retirement. The love she gave to her patients and their families was priceless. Her greatest love in life was for her family and spending quality time with each and everyone of them. Janice will be greatly missed by everyone that loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Louis and Mittie Davis; daughter, Melinda Porter; brothers, Melvin and Hubert; sisters, Claire, Corrine, Jean, Linda, and Melba; great grandson, Ryland. Janice is survived by her beloved children, Deborah Debardelaben, Raymond L. Porter Jr., William E. Porter and wife Lisa Daic Porter, Thomas Edward Porter and wife Hanluu Nog Porter; beloved grandchildren, Bryan N. Herndon, Kayla Meza, Zeanetta Henry, Lauren McKay, Morgan Porter, Brensen Sterader, Brooklen Porter, Melissa Porter, Courtney Porter, Colton Porter, Clancy Head, Kene Daic, Candice Bowlin, Ashley Morgan, and Christopher Morgan; beloved great-grandchildren, Bryce, Maddie, Tate, Kaden, Kameron, Jessiejames, Zerlina, Makenza, Annaka-Grace, Noah, Magnolia, Elijah, Opie, Ira, Clayton, Hanna, Ashlyn, Ethan, Eli, Landon, Boogie, Carsen, Case, Cohen, Aden, Kyle, Olivia, Dolen, Joshua, Austin, Jayden, Taylor, Jackson, Luke, and Owen.
