Janis Lynn Hill

Janis Lynn Hill, 61, of Dayton passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at home after an extended illness. She was born August 1, 1956 in Texas City to parents, William Milton Hill, Jr. and Doris Ables Hill.

Janis was a loving Mother, a friend to many and a very strong and beautiful soul.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother David Hill and her husband Robert Ishmael. She is survived by son, Mikal Hill and Sarah of LaPorte; daughter, Amanda Ishmael of Dayton; brother, Chuck Hill and Kim of Dayton; sister, Cindy Arnold of Conroe; grandchildren, Tyler Hill and Weston McDaniel; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will be holding a memorial for Janis in the near future.
