IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeanette Barr
Warren
August 30, 1940 – December 14, 2025
Jeanette Marie Warren, age 85, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025. She was born on August 30, 1940, in Houston, Texas, to Chester and Gertrude Barr.
Jeanette was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend whose life was defined by love, generosity, and faith. She had a remarkable gift for hospitality, always opening both her home and her heart to anyone in need. Her kitchen was a place of comfort and connection—filled with the warmth of her presence and the joy of her incredible home-cooked meals that brought family and friends together time and time again.
Jeanette also possessed a wonderful sense of humor. She knew how to make people laugh at just the right moment, and her laughter was a gift that will forever be cherished. Through her actions, she taught those around her how to love deeply and care for others generously. Her faith guided her life and was a constant source of strength and peace, not only for her, but for all who knew her.
While words cannot express how deeply Jeanette will be missed, her family is profoundly grateful for the life she lived and the love she shared so freely. Her spirit lives on in our hearts, in our family traditions, and in the treasured memories we hold dear. She will always be our mom, and she will always be loved. Our hearts find comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Gertrude Barr; her beloved husband of 65½ years, Jesse Marsh Warren; her son, Mark Daniel Warren; her brother, William Barr; her sisters, Karen Barr, Barbara Furra, and Betty Cooke; and her great-granddaughter, Emma Houston.
She is survived by her children, Kathy McNeely, Susan Tomlinson and husband Paul, Richard Warren and wife Devanie; her sister, Sandra McMurray; her brother, Charles Barr; her grandchildren, Joshua McNeely and wife Elizabeth, Laura Davidson and husband Robert, Michael Tomlinson and wife Ann, Ryan Tomlinson and wife April, Mark Tomlinson and fiancé Rachel Sutherland, Heather Burciaga and husband Abraham, Jessica Purswell, Brian Houston, Kali Warren, and Maya Warren; her great-grandchildren, Anna, Katelyn, William, Liam, Claire, Ella, Nick, Mollie, Reagan and husband Michael, Jon, Hannah, Sadie, Lane, Cameron, and Logan; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and cherished friends.
