Laura Lynn Perry, a beloved resident of Dayton, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 22, 2023. She was born October 15, 1960 in New Castle, Indiana to James Albert Perry and the late Sarah Frances Lawter Perry.

 

Laura was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many. She spent her career as a cashier and a caregiver, dedicating herself to assisting others with a warm smile and kind heart. Her compassionate nature brought comfort to those in need and left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she cared for.

 

In addition to her professional achievements, Laura also possessed an incredible zest for life. She had an enchanting personality that drew people towards her effortlessly. Her radiant spirit and infectious laughter could light up any room she entered.

 

Laura's family was incredibly important to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She is survived by her father James Albert Perry daughter Milora May Wood and daughter-in-law Wendy Wood. They brought immeasurable joy into her life and shared countless treasured memories together.

 

Throughout her journey, Laura was fortunate to have the love and support of her sisters Lana Mae Ingram and Leah Colleen Pope, as well as her brother Thomas Reuben Perry. Their unwavering presence provided strength during difficult times and created unbreakable bonds of love between them.

 

Laura's grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Stephen Murray Wood and his wife Kyleigh, Arie Lynn Wood, Rhiannon Marie Lynn Fisher, and Michael Thomas Perry Fisher brought boundless happiness into Jeanie's life with their youthful energy and precious smiles. Their love for their grandmother will continue to be a source of comfort during this difficult time.

 

While we grieve the loss of such an extraordinary woman, we take solace in knowing that Laura has been reunited with her loved ones who have passed before her. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Frances Perry, her sons Steven James Woods and Murray Dean Fisher Jr., her sister Linda Joy Perry, her brother James Michael Perry, and her nephew Emilio Ingram.

 

Laura Lynn Perry will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, unwavering love for her family, and the countless lives she touched. Her legacy of selflessness and compassion will continue to inspire us all.
