Jennifer Lee Manzella was born on October 18, 1958, in Hempstead, Texas, to Antonia Alvarez and Jackino Manzella. She passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2025, at the age of 67.
Jennifer was an extraordinary woman whose love and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She was a devoted mother of four, a proud grandmother of six, and a joyful great-grandmother of three. To her family, she was lovingly known as “Nana”—a title she cherished above all else.
Jennifer’s greatest joy in life came from her family. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was unconditional and unwavering. She shared a deep and special bond with her significant other, Wendall McCaa, who loved and supported her and her children as his own. Together, they watched their family grow with immense pride and affection.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Antonia Alvarez; her father, Jackino Manzella; and her beloved daughter, Jessica Williams.
She is survived by her significant other, Wendall McCaa; her siblings, Carmella Barron, Pat Miers, and Kino Manzella; her children, Jacqueline Sauerwein, Jamie Sauerwein, and Jason Sauerwein; and her bonus son, Garrett Elledge.
She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren—Mariah, McKenna, Spencer, Amy, Antonia, and Avery—as well as her precious great-grandchildren—Arabella, Theo, and Axl.
Numerous Nephew’s and Niece’s she loved dearly.
Jennifer’s friendship with many was cherished deeply in her heart.
Jennifer’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. Her warmth, strength, and boundless love for her family will never be forgotten.
