Jeremy “Papa” Scott Williams, 47, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on September 16, 2026, in Dayton, Texas. He was born on August 18, 1979, in Houston, Texas, to Gary Samuel Williams and Connie Carlton Williams.

Jeremy was a 1997 graduate of Channelview High School. He later attended the University of Houston–Clear Lake, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. For the past 20 years, Jeremy dedicated his life to teaching, serving as a Pre-K physical education teacher with Sheldon Independent School District.

Jeremy made his home in Baytown for the past 17 years. He enjoyed geocaching, playing sports, and game nights with friends. He also loved his cats, Ripley and Kirsh. Above all, Jeremy’s heart belonged to his children, Dmitry and Nadia. He adored them and treasured every moment he spent with them.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Doris Carlton and James and Jean Williams.

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Connie Williams; his children, Dmitry and Nadia Williams, and their mother, Marina Williams; his brother, Michael Williams and wife Stephanie; and his nieces, Hannah and Madeleine Williams.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
