Jessica Garza-Godinez

Jessica Garcia-Godinez, 41, of Houston passed away September 28, 2021. Jessica was born December 25, 1979 in Jacinto City, Texas to parents Marcelo Francisco Garcia and Maria Esperanza Arias Garcia.

Jessica was a lifelong resident of Channelview. She was a member of the St. Andrews Catholic Church in Channelview, the EDGE Catechist and for some time she served on the Parish Committee. She was a former employee of the Texas Children’s Hospital Pharmacy. Jessica enjoyed photography, spending time with family and spreading God’s word.

Jessica is survived by her husband, David Godinez; her parents, Marcelo and Maria Garcia; grandfather, Jose Arias Javier; daughter, Marisa Leah Garza; sons, Isaiah Andrew Garza and Roman Eloy Garza; sister, Socorro Denise Gonzales and husband Adam; sister-in-law, Luciana Garcia; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Dayton. Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Services for Jessica will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 11, 2021, at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Channelview under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton
