Jose Garza

Jose Garza of Shepherd, Texas passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the age of 81. He was born October 16, 1941 in Rio Hondo, Texas to parents Nicholas and Herminia Garza.

Jose is preceded in death by his parents Nicholas and Herminia Garza; brother Cole Garza. He is survived by his loving wife Pamela Dean Garza; children Michelle Del Bosque and husband Orlando, Yvonne “Bonnie” Rojas and husband George, Martha Lee and husband Christopher; Shawn Riley; grandchildren Amanda Holliday, George Alexander Rojas, OJ, Ricky, Lamar and Kristina Del Bosque. Joey and Kyle Lee, Payton, Jaxon and Taralynn Riley; 15 great-grandchildren; sister Antonia Garza Carnahan; brothers Daniel Garza, Benito Garza and wife Maria, Ovidio Garza, Homero Garza and wife Mary Alice; mother and father-in-law Almedia and Larry Dean; many other family members and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who love him.

A memorial will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 2pm at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland, Texas with Pastor Dalton Currie officiating. The family would like to invite everyone to a reception at Security First Baptist Church located at 21158 TX-105, Cleveland, TX 77328 immediately following the service.
