Joseph Byers Caylor, Sr., age 86 of Coldspring, Texas passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020. He was born May 11, 1934 in New Caney, Texas to parents Rudal Sam and Irene Caylor who preceded him in death along with his brother, David Caylor; and sister, Georgia Harry.
Mr. Caylor retired from Lyondell Chemical Plant in Sheldon in 1994. He was a member of the Dyersdale Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge #1413, and the Eastern Star. Joseph enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening and the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Lois Caylor; son, Joe Caylor, Jr. and wife Theresa; daughter, Elizabeth Caylor-Sprowell and husband Bob; grandchildren, Joseph Caylor, III., Cameron Caylor, Emily Sprowell, Kyle Caylor, Krystal Caylor, and Stephenie Sprowell; along with five great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
