Joyce Lynn Graves

Joyce Lynn Graves, 90, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026. Born on August 7, 1935, in Boyce, Louisiana, Joyce lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and a love for the simple pleasures. He spent many years as a truck driver, a profession he truly enjoyed. In his spare time, he could often be found fishing, playing solitaire, or taking pride in keeping his yard neatly mowed.

Joyce was a resident of Dayton, Texas, for the past 22 years and was formerly a resident of Gardner, Louisiana. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, quiet nature, and the love he had for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Nora Graves; his brother, Dickey Graves; and his sister, Betty Johnson.

He is survived by his son, James Lynn Graves; his sister, Ginger Russell; his brother, Hardy Graves; his grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Graves and spouse, and Brandy Nicole Walden and spouse; and his great-grandchildren, Andy Jr., Brandon, Breonna, Camille, and Ace. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Joyce's legacy lives on through the family he loved and the many lives he touched throughout his 90 years. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
