Judith Kay Brady was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma, on August 26, 1941, to parents, Rex Gilstrap and Louise Gilstrap. She graduated to Heaven on November 19, 2025, at the age of 84. Judy worked as Officer Manager with her husband, Jim, in their business. She was a devoted Christian woman in her latter years. She loved God, loved her family, and loved all her dear friends and animals. Judy was preceded in death by her father, Rex Gilstrap; mother, Louise Menees; stepbrother, Buddy Menees. She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, James D. “Jim” Brady; sister, Debbie Fite and husband Bruce; brother Ron Menees and wife Joanne; sisters Karen Hall and husband Jeff, and Melinda Bennett and husband Joey. Jim would like to say a special thanks to all the friends that came by to see her before her passing and her borrowed dog “Bleu”. Thanks to Dave and Colleen Porter for help with watching Judy so I could make doctor appointments and such and a big thanks to Richard and Kathy Moore for all their help with Judy and upkeep here at the ranch and regular visits with Judy by Kathy. Also, thanks to his mom, Sherry Lewis, for her help watching Judy when I needed to get outside work done. We have a wonderful Christian family!
