Judith Diane Hall McMullen of Kingwood, a beloved retired school teacher, passed away on April 24, 2024, in Liberty. She was born on September 3, 1941, in Houston.

 

Throughout her life, Judith found joy in her career as an educator and touched the lives of many students with her passion for teaching. Her dedication to shaping young minds left a lasting impact on the community she served.

 

Judith's proudest accomplishments included being a member of Alpha Chi Omega and First Presbyterian Church in Kingwood. Her commitment to these organizations showcased her unwavering faith and sense of community.

 

In her free time, Judith indulged in her love for gardening, finding solace and beauty in nurturing plants and flowers. This hobby reflected her nurturing spirit and appreciation for nature's wonders.

 

She had lived in Kingwood for the last 20 years, was a previous resident of Lake Jackson and a former longtime resident of Houston.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents William Hall, Sr. and Margaret Arnold Hall, her son Matthew McMullen, and her brother William Hall, Jr. Judith is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Raymond McMullen, children Leah Kolarik (Arnold) and Mark McMullen, brother Bruce Hall (Carol), sister-in-law Janet Hall, grandchildren Lindsey Stegall, Kaitlyn Craft (Jackson), and Tania Kolarik (Tanner Hilyard), as well as great-grandchildren Hayes Craft and Bodhi Craft. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish her memory.

 

Services to honor and celebrate Judith's life will be held at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. A visitation will take place on April 30th from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. The burial will be at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston at 2:00 PM.

 

Judith Diane Hall McMullen will be fondly remembered for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to those around her. May she rest in peace knowing she made a positive impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
