Julia Ann Bridges passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, at the age of 72, surrounded by loving family.

Julia was a devoted Christian, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, teacher, and friend. Her life was a beautiful example of kindness, generosity, and compassion.

Teaching was more than a profession for Julia—it was her calling. She had a natural love for education and found great joy in helping others learn. Nothing made her happier than seeing "the light" come on when a student understood something new.

Julia found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved traveling to new places, getting lost in a good book, and spending time shopping with family and friends. Above all, she treasured the moments spent with those she loved, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmie Bridges; daughter’s, Tracey her husband George Lawrence, and Stephanie her husband Jason Hemingway; her grandchildren, Andrew his wife Alexa, Dalton his wife AhOui McCord, Gavin, Falyn, and Dylan Hemingway; and great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Ansel, Embrose, Elias, and Corvan McCord, siblings; Martha Perkins, Larry Hill, and Kathaleen Hollaway, aunts/uncles and 5 nieces and Jeffery Glenn Speer (nephew).

Julia's legacy is one of faith, love, learning, and selfless service. She lived with grace, loved without reservation. While her family and friends mourn her passing, they rejoice in the promise of eternal life and find comfort knowing she is at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever treasured by all who knew and loved her.
