Justin Reed Bankston August 21, 1986 – September 18, 2025

Justin Reed Bankston, 39, of Dayton, Texas, passed away on September 18, 2025.

Born on August 21, 1986, Justin was the son of Jefferey Bankston and Harvalyn "Lyn" Johnson Bankston. A lifelong resident of Dayton, Justin attended Dayton High School and built a respected career as a pipefitter. In addition to his trade, Justin had a natural gift for sales and never met a stranger.

Justin enjoyed spending time with his friends, especially playing darts at the local bar, and had a deep love for riding motorcycles — a passion that brought him freedom and joy.

He is survived by his parents; his grandmother, Connie Coy; his son, Wesley Scott Bankston; and his daughter, Emery Janik. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas.
