Justin Loren Hector, 49, passed away on July 25, 2026.

Justin was born on October 31, 1976, in Liberty, Texas, to Eddie Lee Hector Sr. and Barbara LaVonne Weaver. He was a graduate of Dayton High School, and proudly answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Army. During his military service, Justin served as a member of the elite 101st Airborne Division as a paratrooper, a role he carried with pride and honor.

Justin was an outdoorsman at heart who enjoyed fishing and hunting whenever he had the opportunity. He had a passion for Army history and loved watching military history movies. Anyone who knew Justin also knew he never turned down a good meal and enjoyed gathering around the table with family and friends.

More than anything, Justin treasured his family. He loved spending time with his children and creating lasting memories with them. Whether sharing stories, enjoying the outdoors, or simply being together, his family was the center of his world.

Justin will be remembered for his love of country, his appreciation for history, his adventurous spirit, and the deep love he had for those closest to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Lee Hector Sr. and Barbara LaVonne Weaver; his grandparents; and his beloved son, Zachariah Hector.

He is survived by his sons, Jonathan Hector and Justin Hector; his daughter, Jayda Hector; his brother, Eddie Hector Jr. and wife, Virginia; his sister, Karen Springer and husband, Kevin; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends who will cherish his memory.

Justin's legacy of service, strength, and devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
