Karolyn Marie Harrison

Karolyn Marie Harrison was born June 10, 1948 in Houston, Texas to parents, Noah Melton Sr and Ravy Helms Melton. She passed away in Onalaska, Texas on April 8, 2024 at the age of 75.  Karolyn has lived in Onalaska for the past 4 years and was formerly of Shepherd, Texas.  She loved the outdoors, especially planting and gardening. Karolyn loved read the Word of God and attended church when she could. She loved her family and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them. Karolyn will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved her.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah Melton Sr and Ravy Melton; beloved husband, Jearl Wayne Harrison Sr; son, Jearl Wayne Harrison Jr; granddaughter, Samantha Harrison; great-granddaughter, Tara Harrison; brothers, Noah Melton Jr and Ernest Melton. Karolyn is survived by her son, Stacy Adam Harrison; daughters, Gala Ann Smith and husband Eddie, and Laura Mahle and husband Brian; brothers, Russell Melton and Alfray Melton; sisters, Nancy Cole, Linda Henderson, Phyllis Jordan, and Becky Meadors; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 2pm with Pastor Alfray Melton officiating. Burial will follow in the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.
