Labeta June Metzger

Labeta June Metzger, 80 years of age, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020 in Huffman, Texas. She was born February 16, 1940 in Winfield, Kansas to parents Homer Lee Metzger and Edith Bell Harris.
She was retired from Wal-Mart and was very crafty at making jewelry for family members. She loved spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Metzger was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Martha Kating and her son-in-law Wadie Lee Elam.
She is survived by her children, James Nelson Bennett and wife Kathy of Thornton, Texas, Charles Wayne Bennett and wife Dawn of China, Texas and Ketra Dawn Elam of Huffman, Texas; her sister Aletha Courtney of Cheauteau, Oklahoma;
12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also numerous nieces, relatives, other relatives and friends.
There are no services at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
