Leah B. Penrod Heuszel, 90, of Katy, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015, at the Heritage Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Katy.Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. 11:30 a.m., Friday, December 11, 2015 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, December 11, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens in Cleveland. Leah was born February 28, 1925 in Windber, Pennsylvania, to parents; Roy E. and Delema Z. Herndon Penrod, was a former resident of Livingston, Galena Park, Cleveland, Brenham, Cypress, and has resided in Katy for the past two years. She was a graduate of the Livingston High School, a homemaker, and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Heuszel was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years: Alvie Heuszel, son: Paul L. Heuszel, brother: Roy E. Penrod, Jr., sister: Delma E. Brock, and her parents. She is survived by her daughter: Sharon Thompson and husband David of Katy, grandchildren: Lane Thompson and wife Necole, Kipp Thompson and wife Kristy, Lauren Adams and husband Brian, and Katie Heuszel, great-grandchildren: Haley and Tyler Thompson, Jordyn and Amanda Thompson, Jaxson Adams, Averee Silva, and Jeremy Silva, Jr., and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.For those who desire donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association at P.O.
