Lillie E. "Bitsy" Mifflin Flowers, 84, of Dayton, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2014, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.Lillie was born August 14, 1930 in Dayton, to parents; Cecil G. and Myrtle Razer Mifflin, and was a lifelong resident of Dayton. She was a graduate of the Dayton High School class of 1948, a retired accountant from General Crude and Mobil Oil, and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. She also enjoyed crafts, gardening, church activities, music, and spending time with family and friends.Mrs. Flowers was preceded in death by her father: Cecil G. Mifflin, mother: Myrtle Razer Mifflin, husband of 43 years: James S. "Sid" Flowers, Jr., sister: Naomi Ripkowski and her husband August, brother: Harold Mifflin, and brother-in-law: Harry Daniel. She is survived by her daughter: Lisa R. Flowers of Dayton, sisters: Frances Turner and husband George of Conroe and Georgia Daniel of Livingston, brothers: James Mifflin and wife Jeanette of Dayton and Carlton Mifflin of Dayton, sister-in-law: Ellen Smith and husband Jimmy of Dayton, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
