Lori June Bell

Lori June Bell, age 69, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026. She was born on November 1, 1956, in Macon, Georgia, to Osborne Smith Jr. and Eunice Elizabeth Zellner.

Lori was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother whose life was defined by her selflessness and deep care for those around her. She found great joy in nurturing her family and creating a warm, welcoming home. Lori especially loved decorating her house, cooking for loved ones, and collecting jewelry and meaningful keepsakes that reflected her sentimental spirit.

For 28 years, Lori was a resident of Dayton, where she built a life centered on family and community. She also previously lived in North Carolina and New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Eunice Elizabeth Zellner, and her sisters, Janice Cook and Judith Schulman.

Lori is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, Steven Charles Fillman; her sons, Nicholas Bell and daughter-in-law Leanne Bell, and Michael Bell; her daughters, Lori Bell Novotny and son-in-law Matthew Novotny, and Katherine Bell; as well as her treasured grandchildren.

Lori’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
