Marcella Ann Goodman Boullion

Marcella Ann Goodman Boullion, age 92, of Dayton, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, in Woodville, Texas.

Marcella was born on May 13, 1933, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Homer Wilson Goodman and Freddie Claud Blanchard Goodman. She spent the last 57 years of her life in Dayton, where she built a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Marcella had a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. She loved dining out and rarely passed a restaurant without wanting to stop and give it a try. An avid gardener, she found great joy working with plants and nurturing them to grow. By trade, Marcella was a dog groomer and for a time owned her own pet shop. She loved all animals, always having a dog of her own, and even raised birds at one point in her life.

She enjoyed traveling and often reminisced fondly about family trips to Garner State Park when her children were young. Visits to the family farm in Warren held a special place in her heart and brought back many treasured memories. Above all, Marcella loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed going crabbing in Anahuac with her granddaughter.

Marcella also loved cooking and experimenting with new recipes, faithfully recording the cooking channel and sharing her culinary passion with others. She was well known for her famous chocolate sheet cake, a treat enjoyed by many family members and friends at numerous family reunions.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of over 50 years, Dallas Joseph Boullion; her grandchild, Angelica Lenae Green; and her sisters, Claudine Akers and Arlene Patterson.

Marcella is survived by her sons, Dallas Jerell Boullion, Clinton Drew Boullion, and Van Ray Boullion; her daughter, Felicia Claud Noack and husband Gary Dewayne; her grandchildren, Selena Boullion, Marc Boullion and wife Deanna, Christopher Boullion, Jennifer Ricketts and husband Colt, Madalyn Stevens and husband Jason, Laticia Noack, Derick Noack, Amy Shearer and husband Matt; along with numerous great-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. also at Pace Stancil Funeral Home. Burial will follow at China Cemetery in China, Texas.

Marcella will be remembered for her love of family, her generous heart, and the many ways she brought joy to those around her.
