Marsha Rae Duff, lovingly known as “Nini” to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and countless friends, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born on February 14, 1937, to Marshall Arlen and Annie Mae (Gibbons) Redden.
Nini was a woman whose greatest joy was her family. She had a way of making everyone around her feel loved, welcomed, and at home. Her love, wisdom, laughter, and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Nini was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall Arlen and Annie Mae (Gibbons) Redden; her sister, Bobbi Jean Tolar; and her beloved husband, Jessie James Duff, to whom she was married for 52 years. Their love and life together were a beautiful part of her story, and we find comfort knowing they are together again.
She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Bennett (Mike) and Melissa Woodman (Keith); her grandchildren, Heidi Sims (Brian), Kara Needham (Jesse), Sara Woolery (RP), Katy Calbo (Josh), Carson Baird, Shelbie Woodman, Dalton Wickham (Robert), Jamie Harvey (Clyde), and Emma Naill (Blake); 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and dear friends who loved her dearly.
Nini found joy in the simple things and was always creating something with her hands. She loved quilting, crocheting, gardening, cooking, and woodworking. Her home was a place of warmth, creativity, good food, and memories that her family will treasure forever.
Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we are grateful for the many years, memories, lessons, and love she gave us. Her legacy will continue through the generations she loved so deeply.
A visitation for Marsha Rae “Nini” Duff will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Security Cemetery.
Nini will be missed beyond words, but her love will remain with us always. We take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and is rejoicing in Heaven, reunited with her beloved Jessie and those who went before her.
Until we meet again, Nini. We love you forever.
