Mary Jeanette Colson was born April 27, 1928 in Snowhomish County, Washington to parents to Leonard and Margareet Russell. She passed away June 11, 2026 in Shepherd, Texas at the age of 98. Mary was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ-Latter Day Saints and went through the temple in Washington St. She was proud to have a large and loving family and provided a warm and loving home for them and her husband John L. Colson. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and by her son, John L. Colson Jr. She is survived by her 5 children, Carol Colson, Jeannie Nordberg, Christine Jennings, Bernice Doseo, and Ronald Colson; 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, and 2 half sisters.
