Melvin Machart graced the world with his magnanimous presence for 92 glorious years. He went to join Jesus, John Wayne and Dolly in eternity, and nothing would have made him happier than sitting with those three. 

Melvin was born on March 16th, 1934 in El Campo, Texas. He graduated from Crescent High School in 1951. He met his wife Charlene in 1954, they wed and have shared 67 years of blissful marriage, 68 as of October 11th, 2026. 

Melvin leaves the world his three incredible children, Denise, Dene, and Brian and their spouses Jimmy, Randy, and Laura; five grandchildren, Randy, Kalli, Kirk, Maddison, and Tyler and their spouses Ashlee, Remy, Rachel, and Zach; and four great-grandchildren, Mason, Maddax, Madison, and Joan. 

After a life dedicated to supporting his family, he was able to retire in the beautiful town of Camilla and live out his best years with Charlene by his side. He loved country music, the Astros, and spending time with good friends and family. 

Melvin will be eternally missed and impossible to replace, he was truly a one-of-a-kind human being.
