Michael Jacob Mckinney

Michael Jacob McKinney, 22, of Highlands, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013, in Baytown. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2013, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Michael was born March 8, 1991 in Austin and has resided in the Highlands and Dayton area throughout his life. He was a graduate of the Memorial High School class of 2009 and a pipefitter by trade. He enjoyed snowboarding, swimming, four wheelers, and the outdoors. Mr. McKinney was preceded in death by his step-grandparents: Joe and Dorothy Hada and aunt: Connie Remien. He is survived by his parents: Donna Blagg and Ronald Hada of Highlands, daughter: Brylee McKinney of Highlands, sisters: Summer Wallace and husband William of Las Vegas, NV and Jennifer Thamm and husband Shelby of Dayton, grandparents: Don and Jean McKinney of Belton, and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
