Obituary for Milton Allen Brault

Milton Allen Brault, age 67, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025. Born on November 5, 1957, in Waco, Texas, Milton was the son of Howard Avery "Joe" Brault and Helen Ann McCown.

A proud Texan and longtime resident of Silver Spring Creek, Florida, Milton was a dedicated landscaper who proudly referred to himself as a "Lawn Barber." He had a deep love for the outdoors, spending countless hours playing golf and fishing. His passion for golf was matched only by his love for his truck, a good game of football — especially when the Dallas Cowboys were playing — and his ever-growing coin collection, which included prized gold pieces.

Milton had a knack for making life lighthearted and fun. His favorite song, "Don't Worry, Be Happy," captured the spirit with which he lived. He was a talented guitar player and a man of simple pleasures — like peanut butter, which he happily put in or on just about everything. He especially cherished the companionship of his beloved cat, Tuesday.

Milton was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Barbara Ann Brault; his brother, Thomas Brault; his grandparents; and his life partner, Barbara Ducharme.

He is survived by his children: Mindy Fatic and husband Michael, Stephen Brault and wife Christina, and JoAnn Nicole Brault; his brother, Howard Avery Brault III; sister, Anna Marie Brault; and a legacy of love carried on through his many grandchildren: Melissa, Kristin, Tasha, Victoria, Trinity, Faith, Hope, Skylar, Cheyenne, Everleigh, Brian, Lily, Nash, Hadley, Maddie, and Hudson. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, and of course, his loyal companion, Tuesday.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m., also at Pace Stancil.

Milton’s humor, warmth, and unwavering love for life will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
