Norman Brian Bobo

Norman Brian Bobo passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, at the age of 62. He was born on January 14, 1963, in Atlanta, Texas, to Richard and Mary Bobo. Brian was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and grandfather who touched the lives of all who knew him with his kindness, strength, and unwavering faith.

Brian was known for his generous heart — the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. A hard worker all his life, he took pride in every task he did and never met a stranger. His warmth and sincerity made people feel at home, and his sense of humor could light up any room.

A devoted Christian, Brian carried a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ. He was never shy about sharing that faith, using every opportunity to make sure those around him knew the love of the Lord. His walk with Christ was central to his life and a guiding light for those who loved him.

Growing up, Brian cherished time spent on the lake with his brothers, cousins, and father — moments that became lifelong memories. He loved to ride motorcycles, play golf, and more than anything, spend time with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

Brian was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cindy; his father, Richard Bobo; his brothers, Richard “Ricky” Bobo and David Keith Bobo; his grandparents, Eleanor and Elzer Bobo; and his aunts and uncles, Gene and Cindy Bobo, and Amos and Mary Lightfoot.

He is survived by his devoted son, Jared Bobo; his loving mother, Mary Bryant; his sister, Terri West; and his treasured grandchildren, Declan, Scarlett, and Kiera Bobo. He also leaves behind nieces Mackensie and husband Jason Burkett and Kathryn Knight; nephew Zep Benbow; cousins Mark, Rusty, and Scott Lightfoot; and dear friends Amy Lynn and Theresa Guynes — all of whom loved him dearly.

Brian's presence in our lives was a true blessing, and though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing he is at peace and reunited with those who went before him. His love, laughter, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Brian's honor on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Oak Shade Baptist Church. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and share in remembering the life of this remarkable man.
