Patricia Doris Burkett

Patricia Doris (Anders) Burkett, born in 1952, passed away suddenly on May 10, 2024 at the age of 71 in her hometown of Cleveland, TX. Pat was a dedicated mother, grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed by family and friends. Pat worked as a rural carrier at the Cleveland Post Office for 19 years and made many friends. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and enjoyed visiting the library and the local food banks, distributing what she could to friends around town. 

Pat is preceded in death by her parents Rudy & Doris and her brother “Butch” Anders. She is survived by her two daughters: Jessica Grilliot & husband David, and Lesley Burkett Scholten & wife Kaci; three grandchildren: Raven Grillot, Gavin Ellason and Lance Parker; and by her brother David Anders. There are several nieces, nephews, and extended family members that will also miss her dearly.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 29^th at 12 pm at Montague Church of Christ in Cleveland, TX. A light reception with family will follow.
