Peggy Jean Allison November 27, 1930 – September 14, 2025
Peggy Jean Allison, 94, of Huffman, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025.
Peggy was born on November 27, 1930, in Mount Enterprise, Texas, to Bill Barker and Ethel Bane. A proud graduate of Mt. Enterprise High School, she lived a long and full life centered on family, nature, and the simple joys of everyday living.
For the past 27 years, Peggy made her home in Huffman, Texas. Prior to that, she lived in Alta Loma. An avid lover of the outdoors, she especially enjoyed crappie fishing and was happiest when spending time on the pier. She also loved camping, creating warm memories under the stars with those closest to her.
Peggy had a creative spirit and a generous heart. She spent many hours sewing and knitting, crafting meaningful gifts that will be cherished by her loved ones for years to come. She also had a playful side, especially enjoying trips to the casino where she embraced the fun and excitement of the games.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Barker and Ethel Bane; her son, Famen Darrell Wolf; her grandson, Keith Damon Wolf; her granddaughter, Lauren Wolf; her sister, Billie Ruth Watson; and her husbands, Sonny Allison and Oscar Fritz Wolf.
Peggy is survived by her loving children: Fred Wolf and wife Carla R., Randy Wolf and wife Carolyn, Rita Wolf; she is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought great joy to her life and will carry forward her legacy of love, strength, and resilience.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Huffman Cemetery, with Randy D. Wolf presiding.
Peggy Jean Allison will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
