Randy Heckel

Randy Warren Heckel, 54, of Dayton died August 29, 2017 in Baytown, Texas.

Service for Randy will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00. Interment will be at Ryan Cemetery in Tarkington Prairie.

Randy was born August 27, 1963 in Jacksonville, Florida to parents, Harvey and Betty Jane Waters. He had worked as a self-employed truck driver. He enjoyed taking his boat out, traveling, and riding his motorcycle. He was a hard worker, a good provider and a good father.
Mr. Heckel was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey A. Waters and Betty Jane Warren Waters; brothers, Danny Heckel, Roger Wade Heckel and Kenny Edward Heckel; sisters, Katherine George and Elaine Fuller. He is survived by his son, Brantley Heckel; brother, Colquitt “Carl” Heckel; nephew, Kevin Fuller; niece, Morgan Heckel and special friend, Tina Taylor.
