Raymond Fregia

Raymond Doyle Fregia, 88 of Liberty, Texas passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 at his home.

Services for Mr. Fregia will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 10, 2017 at Open House Ministries Church, 3605 North Main, Liberty, Texas 77575. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the church. Burial will be at The Wilderness of God Cemetery under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton.

Raymond was born March 15, 1929 in Hull, Texas to parents, Tojan and Drucilla Fregia. He was a lifelong resident of the Liberty area. He had worked in the oilfield.

Mr. Fregia was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Veli Whitmire, J. D. Fregia and John Lewis Fregia; granddaughter, Rebecca Fregia; great grandchildren, Phillip Fregia and Aubrey Fregia. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Gracie Burch of Ames; children, Raymond Fregia and wife Linda of Ames, Billy Roy “Cooter” Fregia and wife Sarah of Ames, Nellie Cheryl Shook of Hardin; Billy Wayne Fregia and wife Debbie of Batson; Rosa Lee Cook and husband Dennis of Hull; Stoney Burke Fregia and wife Vanassa of Raywood; Johnny Yuma Fregia and wife Kerri of Ames; Elvis Presley Fregia and wife Regina of Hardin; and Evil Knievel Fregia of Ames; step-children, Tessa Burch and husband Billy of Livingston; Selena Cain and husband Johnathan of Kenefick; Loryie Lee Burch of Ames and Daniel E. Burch of Ames; sister, Nellie Taylor of Raywood; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
