Rickey Maurice Vincent

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Rickey Maurice Vincent on Sunday, May 11, 2025, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on October 2, 1947, in Mishawaka, Indiana, Rick graduated from Penn High School and soon after entered an electrician apprenticeship. Through hard work and dedication, he became a Master Electrician and spent many years working in the electrical union before relocating to Conroe, Texas, where he established his own successful business.

He also served in an active Army Reserve Unit for six years.

Rick was known for his exceptional talent in construction and design. He crafted a beloved barndominium in the national forest of Montgomery, Texas—a place filled with memories of family gatherings and trail rides on horseback. Later, he built a home in a lakefront subdivision in Willis, Texas, and poured his passion into remodeling his current residence.

Rick was also very passionate about photography, especially of the outdoors, and won awards for his efforts.

Rick is now reunited in heaven with his beloved daughter, Kristee Vincent, and his mother, Ruby Vincent. Their memories were deeply cherished, and their reunion brings peace to those who loved him most.

Rick is survived by his daughter, Bobbi Jo Cannon and husband Frank; sister, Vickie Dordan; brothers, Dan Vincent and wife Diane, Rod Vincent and wife Linda, and Gary Vincent; as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to American Cancer Society or to the Conroe Animal Shelter, to honor Rick’s memory.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate team at Allheal Home Health, whose care and dedication brought comfort and support during Rick’s final journey.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
