Robert G. Barth, 79, of Dayton, died Saturday, October 20, 2012, at a family residence in Allen.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.Robert was born May 4, 1933 in Lake Creek, to parents; Jim F. and Ruby G. Chandler Barth, a former resident of Crockett, and has resided in Dayton for the past 33 years. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps during Korea, former manager of Perry Brothers, former Deacon of the Dayton Church of Christ, and a member of the Liberty Church of Christ. He also enjoyed gardening and fishing. Mr. Barth was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 51 years: Maurine Bennett Barth, and brother: J. D. Barth. He is survived by his children: Glenda Lewis and husband Randy of Allen, Debbie Blanken and husband Fred of Dublin, Danny Barth of Dayton, and Mark Barth of Dallas, grandchildren: Andrea Jackson and husband Chris, Robin Laningham and husband Jeremy, Clifton Ivester, Jr. and wife Felicity, and Travis Barth, great-grandchild: Layden Jackson, siblings: Linda Hudson and husband Eugene of Brady, Joe Barth and wife Lorna of WA, and Charles Barth of FL, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
